TeamSpeak 3 - Section III

1) Do not transmit unnecessary loud noises.
It's very annoying to have your headphones blow out or not to hear someone correctly when unnecessary loud noises are transmitted. This includes blowing in your microphone, using soundboards that are too loud and constant screaming.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule can vary from a warning to a TeamSpeak 3 infraction and in severe cases, a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server.

2) Do not switch channels constantly to spam other users with sound notifications.
Most users have the default female voice pack enabled and it is extremely uncomfortable to listen to constant messages of people joining and leaving the channel.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule can vary from a warning to a TeamSpeak 3 infraction and in severe cases, a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server.

3) Do not connect to TeamSpeak 3 with more than one user.
Exceptions are for proven siblings in one household and bots that stream music.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule can vary from a warning to a TeamSpeak 3 infraction and in severe cases, a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server.

4) Do not constantly poke someone or send them text messages to get their attention.
A poke can sometimes, for some users, lead to them being forced out of their game which is annoying when they're currently engaged in a roleplay situation. If you want someone's attention, one poke and/or text message is enough.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule can vary from a warning to a TeamSpeak 3 infraction and in severe cases, a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server.

5) When you require support, do not bother staff members for it. Wait in the appropriate channel for their help.
Just like rule #4, staff members are also roleplaying and can therefore not always immediately help you. We have appropriate channels for a reason.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule can vary from a warning to a TeamSpeak 3 infraction and in severe cases, a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server.

6) Do not give out channel passwords that are confidential.
Some channels are protected for a reason and it's going to be a problem when these channels are available to anyone once the password has been leaked. We do not want to change passwords constantly because everyone knows them.

  • The punishment for breaking this rule is a permanent ban from our TeamSpeak 3 server without pardon.

This thread will be updated from time to time with changes and additional rules.
